A brief history:-
"From the ashes of South African International rock export THE BENJAMIN GATE (Forefront/ EMI records USA), SABC3's 'Going Nowhere Slowly' Themesong performers and One Big Rush rises a new band called ONE DAY REMAINS."

One Day Remains roots can be traced back about 8 years or so ago when Michael(Vox, & lead Guitar) and Daniel(Bass) 1st met in Table View Cape Town.
Michael had a solo career for most of his early twenties and while Daniel cut his teeth with one or two bands that made quite a bit of headlines back in the early to mid 90's.

After hearing Michaels solo album HOME, Daniel decided to hook up again with Michael and convinced him to help put together a band to do the music justice. After Justin Kruger (Polisiekar/ van Coke Kartel) declined to hop in on drums, Daniel and Mike recruited Brett Palmer formerly of The Benjamin Gate and Jagged X. Brett Palmer has since left One Day Remains to pursue other interests. We wish him all the best !

The latest edition to the band includes Guido Helm, formerly from Kelvin Declined on rhythm guitars and Jason Oosthuizen on drums. welcome to the TEAM guys !
